As the men from 5760 Georgia Ave were sitting down to breakfeast, the box alarm was sounded for the HOUSE (or 69Dyadayada as it is now), First arriving units, ENGINE 22 and TRUCK 11 reported heavy smoke and flames showing from the first floor with fire extending to the top floor of a two-story duplex dwelling. With heavy fire conditions showing a working fire dispatched was transmitted bringing an extern engine and truck company to the scene. As firefighters enter the burning dwelling, the fire extended to the top floor and attic area of the house, Firefighters mounted a very fast and aggressive attack on the fire on both floors and were able to bring the fire under control within 20 minutes with no injuries reported
