E-14 and T-11 were dispatched for the AFA at 5909 Blair road at the Self Storage Center, upon E14 arrival they were notified of a report of a fire in the rear of the structure, requesting the full assignment bringing units from the 1st and the 4th. T-11 raised the Aerial, forced entry and cut roll up doors to gain access to the storage unit involved along side T-6, E-22 Stretched a line through the storage facility and assisted with extinguishment. Due to heavy smoke conditions throughout the building, and the extensive overhaul and investigation, T-11 and E-14 remained on scene for some time after assisting with the investigation.
